Is your taste for world-class golf only matched by your appetite for outstanding food and drink? You’ve come to the right community. Wickenburg Ranch is a true foodies’ paradise. And with four unique restaurants (and ample spirits), the fare is as varied and distinctive as the desert landscape that surrounds you. And much of the credit goes to Wickenburg’s Food and Beverage Director, Rob Macdonald, and his hard-working staff.

#1. Jake’s Spoon—classic dining with a new lighter side

Experience Arizona roadhouse cuisine with a distinctly modern flavor. Jake’s comfortable, airy décor is home to a menu that blends authentic local dishes with traditional American favorites. What does that mean? Blissful satisfaction, whether you’re craving fine steaks, artisan brick oven pizza or our creamy lobster mac & cheese.

In the mood for something a little lighter? You’ll be happy to note we’ve added a number of tempting TroonFIT menu items that are under 600 calories. That includes tasty options like Lemon Seared Salmon served with sofrito, quinoa and grilled asparagus and Italian parsley seafood stew with white wine poached U-10 scallops, shrimp, lobster claw, sofrito and garlic herb crostini. According to Rob, “Our team even incorporated a 6-ounce portion of Prime Sirloin to the light menu, which you won’t be surprised to hear has been very well received.”

#2 Jake’s SipThe finest wines and bourbon

At Jake’s Sip, the bar area attached to Jake’s Spoon, you can always enjoy your favorite craft beers and wines on tap. But that’s just one of many ways to satisfy your thirst at Wickenburg. Not only are we proud to offer thousands of wines available for purchase through our restaurants, but Rob is in the process of putting together a Captain’s Wine List—offering high-end and hard-to-find wines only available by the bottle. “We’ve also expanded purchase offerings for members dining at Jake’s,” explains Rob. “Members can order wine by the glass, by 10-oz. carafe and by the bottle.”

For those whose interests go beyond wine, we offer over 80 types of bourbon, scotch, and whiskey. A new cocktail and spirits menu is created quarterly, relying on the generous help of our members. “For example,” says Rob, “Wickenburg resident Steve Lane was the inspiration behind our French 75, Hendrix Gin, Champagne, and House Sour, Sugar & Lemon cocktails.”

#3 The Watering Hole—the ultimate golf oasis

Located at the heart of Li’l Wick’s nine-hole course, and in the center of our picturesque man-made lake, it’s hard to imagine a more scenic and comfortable place to grab a bite. And that’s the point. This is comfort food at its best—from our signature beer battered fish tacos to Arizona fried chicken slathered in honey and complemented with slaw and pickled jalapeno. Top it all off with a cold beer and it makes for a pre- or post-golf meal you won’t soon forget.

#4 Wick’s Hideaway—a casual gem in plain sight

Arizona’s western heritage gets a contemporary update at Wick’s Hideaway. With an unmatched view of Wickenburg Ranch’s golf practice facility, this inviting, saloon-flavored eatery is the perfect stop for a fresh-made meal. Breakfasts here range from a classic egg plate or toasted croissant sandwich to avocado and eggs on sourdough toast. At lunch, our menu includes popular favorites like pulled pork topped with house-made BBQ sauce, fried onion strings and served on a toasted brioche bun and our fire roasted turkey BLT with avocado and peppered bacon.

#5 The Outpost—poolside eating with a tasty view

Wickenburg Ranch doesn’t offer a better vantage point to admire the surrounding desert. Or a more relaxing and satisfying way to enjoy it. The Outpost provides shaded, weekend dining under an endless Arizona sky. Treat yourself to one of our signature cocktails or refreshing wine slushies while enjoying a sweet chili glazed grilled chicken wrap with pineapple pico de gallo or our Silverado Slider featuring fire roasted turkey with spinach, swiss cheese and lemon basil vinaigrette on a mini croissant.

#6 Join the Wine Club

Still thirsty? Wickenburg Ranch is more than happy to accommodate you. Joining our Wine Locker Club, for example, will give you exclusive access to our most elevated wine and dining experience at Jake’s. Plus, we’ve added a new service called “My Club Wine,” an app that makes it effortless for any Wickenburg member to buy, review, and research wines, and to share feedback with fellow members on property.

And this is just a sampling of what Wickenburg Ranch offers anyone who expects a little more from their menus. So, grab a few friends for a flavorful outing at any of our restaurants. Thanks to Rob and his innovative staff, we promise you won’t be disappointed—whether you’re a foodie or someone who just appreciates a really good meal.
