Buying Q&A with Jasmine & Brian
Q: When did you originally move to Wickenburg Ranch and from where?
A: We moved from Gold Canyon, AZ in June of 2019.
Q: What prompted your original move to WR?
A: We were looking for a Golf Community to retire in.
Q: Were you looking to move to a golf community?
A: Yes.
Q: If so, what set Wickenburg Ranch apart from other golf communities you may have considered?
A: We liked the ability to Join the Troon Privé membership, and we prefer resort-style living to country club living. We visited several Trilogy and Del Webb Golf communities and felt that Wickenburg Ranch was the best. All of the additional amenities, including Big Wick and Li’l Wick, spa, pool, eating establishments, and activities put it at the top of our list. We really were impressed with Li’l Wick and being able to play a lighted course at night.
Q: What do you think sets Big Wick apart from other Arizona courses?
A: Very well maintained and lots of elevation changes.
Q: What is your favorite hole on Big Wick?

Q: We understand you guys recently purchased a new home at Wickenburg Ranch. Congratulations! What prompted your second purchase at Wickenburg Ranch?
A: We downsized a little too much, and since we love the friends we made here, we decided to build a bigger house and make it our forever home.
Q: We heard you live in Bronco, one of our 55+ neighborhoods: Were you originally looking for a 55+ neighborhood or community?
A: No.
Q: What made Bronco the right neighborhood for you?
A: It had the right move-in ready home at the time. But after living in the Bronco neighborhood for over a year, we did not consider any other neighborhoods in the ranch. The get-togethers and friendships we’ve made here are awesome.
Q: What would you say to people wondering if it will be easy to get involved socially at WR? Like anywhere else, you need to put yourself out there.
A: It is a very diverse community, and you’re bound to find people with similar interests and values. Pretty much everyone has moved here because of the social life, so people are very friendly and helpful.
Q: What clubs and/or activities are you involved with at WR?
A: Since we are still working, Brian plays golf with the Weekend Warrior’s, and we play together in the Nine and Dine events. We also are Wine Lock members, so we drink LOTS of wine with our amazing friends. Looking forward to doing much more after we retire.
Q: Lastly, how has your life changed since moving to Wickenburg Ranch?
A: We spend a lot more time with our friends. We go shopping a lot less and use Amazon Prime.
