Wickenburg Ranch was proud to support the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation with the 2nd Annual Wickenburg Golf Tournament, which was a great success!

Community supporters, golfers, and sponsors joined together to honor the spirit of Semper Fidelis and raise $500,000 at the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation’s Golf Tournament at Wickenburg Ranch. Funds raised at the golf tournament will help the Scholarship Foundation provide post-high school, undergraduate, and career technical education scholarships for the children of Marines and Navy Corpsmen.

The Scholarship Foundation has been honoring Marines by educating their children for more than 55 years. This year alone, they’ve awarded over 2,750 scholarships and $8.5 million in support. At a time when the rising cost of higher education significantly outpaces the average military family income, scholarships make a significant difference in the lives of Marine families. Fortunately, 91% of their scholarship recipients graduate compared to 56 percent nationally.

The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation is committed to Honoring Marines by Educating Their Children,” says General Robert R. Ruark USMC (Ret.) and President and CEO of the MCSF. “We know that there is nothing more essential than giving back to those who have always answered the Nation’s call.”

Thank you to all those who participated and supported in this important cause. We’ll see you next year at our annual Wickenburg Golf Tournament.
