We are thrilled to welcome Denise and Rick to the community as our 800th Homebuyers! Rick is retiring from his career as a caretaker of a 200-acre natural preserve, and Denise will continue to teach full time as a special needs school teacher. They can’t wait to get here to participate in all of the wonderful social events.
They decided to move to Wickenburg to be closer to family and their only granddaughter who live in the Phoenix metro area. On a drive west to Wilhoit, AZ, they slowed down at the spurs and noticed the Trilogy sign and said ‘Let’s go.” From the moment they arrived at the gate, they realized this was the place for them. They came back a second time before the holidays and met the “friendliest bunch of folks from the get go” at the Ranch House. They continued to watch the Quick Move-In homes after they returned home to Louisiana, and every time they saw one they liked, it would disappear. Finally, lot 907 showed up. Investing in a new home during a pandemic may seem daunting, especially virtually. So they called their son to drive out and look at the lot, which had friendly neighbors on each side, surrounding mountains, and flowering desert views. He told Denise and Rick to go for it!
They finally found their dream home and are gearing up to move to Wickenburg in June! Although they aren’t golfers, they can’t wait to participate in all of the social activities.
“We just received our first Member RoundUp newsletter and can’t wait to attend the outdoor concerts, social events, and I, as a retired Marine, have already volunteered for the community color guard. And we are definitely going to give that Pickleball a whirl.”
