Summertime is a Great Time at Wickenburg Ranch
Homeowners enjoy outdoor activities all year long thanks to Wickenburg’s picturesque setting, mild climate, and outdoor walkability. It’s generally 5 to 10 degrees cooler at 1,000 feet higher in elevation than Phoenix. So while summers are still warm here, it’s a cooler climate than you’d expect for the desert southwest, making it perfect for all of our popular events and outdoor activities.
Summer Solstice Glow Party
The summer events here are as varied and distinctive as the desert landscape surrounding you. And much of the credit goes to Wickenburg’s hardworking lifestyle team. To kick off the summer, Members at Wickenburg Ranch enjoyed a Summer Solstice Glow Party at the Resort Pool. The Resort Pool lit up after the sun went down for a glow party, featuring a DJ playing our favorite hits and glow-in-the-dark games.
Underrated Golf Tour
We’re excited to host the Underrated Golf Tour for a couple day event. This is a National Junior Golf Tour that was launched by Golden State Warriors star, Steph Curry, to provide a competitive, all-expenses-paid opportunity for underrepresented young players. We are honored to be selected as one of the host sites for this event along with some very well-known clubs around the country.
Red, White & Brews
Let freedom ring! Our members are celebrating red, white, and blue by experiencing a live band playing the classics that shaped America and open flames on the grill. The Arizona Wildflowers is an award-winning, Americana band who love to play high-energy bluegrass, old-time country and gospel music. Growing up on a ranch in Casa Grande, Arizona has given them a love for all things country, including traditional American music. All three girls are state and national fiddle champions and competitive barrel racers.
The Spa and Fitness Center
A well-appointed, modern fitness center offers members a chance to learn a new sport or sharpen existing skills. There’s also a large pool with ample seating and a sunny patio, and a day spa. So sip on a cocktail poolside, take a leisurely dip in the water, or try water aerobics and lap swimming, all while soaking up the expansive sights of the desert and mountains surrounding the community. It’s a refreshing way to start or end any day at Wickenburg.
It’s a Great Time to Golf
The crown jewels of our master-planned community are our two golf courses. The 18-hole championship course Big Wick is a favorite among avid golfers. Our award-winning 9-hole, par-3 course Li’l Wick is a popular place to get in a shorter round of golf with family and friends. Chef has released new summer menus for Jake’s Spoon! Indulge in a jumbo taco salad if you’re feeling spicy. Or try out a new Haole pie with Roasted Garlic White Sauce, Mozzarella, Pepperoni, Pineapple, Smoked Bacon, and Jalapeno. We also offer weekly omelets, smoothies, and more than just Grab’ n’ Go sandwiches at Wick’s Hideaway! Stop by to start your morning off right!
Walkable Neighborhoods
The entire community is connected by a 20-mile network of exclusive hiking and biking paths that take members and their guests through neighborhoods and scenic desert hillsides and back again. Also within walking distance is the Wickenburg Ranch Golf and Social Club.
